Flu Shot Clinics Rescheduled
A new supply of the seasonal flu vaccine has become available, so flu shot clinics have been rescheduled for the following dates:
- Greenville Office - Dec. 10, 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
- Green River Plant - Dec. 14 and 15, 7 to 9 a.m.
E.ON U.S.’s wellness program offeres free flu shots to employees, retirees and spouses. If you cannot make it on a weekday, two Saturday clinics are scheduled.
Please note: The availability of H1N1 flu vaccine is still undetermined at this time. Please watch the wellness site for H1N1 updates.
E.ON U.S./LG&E Facilities (PDF)KU Facilities (PDF)No registration is necessary for the flu shot clinics. Watch for a home mailing featuring locations, dates and times for free flu shots. Flu shots will be available to contractors at a cost of $25 to $30 (cash only), depending on the vendor.
(Special Note: Children cannot receive flu shots through the company wellness program due to their sometimes special vaccination requirements. Also, please remember that children under nine years of age who are getting a flu shot for the first time will need two shots one month apart.)
