LG&E Not Issuing Vouchers or Credits
Louisville, Ky. — LG&E customers who lost power as a result of the Sept. 14 wind storm have contacted us inquiring about information they have received regarding LG&E vouchers or credits. This information is false. It appears the misinformation is being conveyed through e-mails and text messages many customers have received.
LG&E is alerting all local media to inform them that this information is false, and that LG&E is not issuing vouchers or credits to customers impacted by the Sept. 14 storm.
If any LG&E customer should contact you with billing questions, please direct them to call the LG&E Residential Service Center at (502) 589-1444. The call center is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday thru Friday and call center representatives will be more than happy to address the customer's questions or concerns.
LG&E is a wholly-owned subsidiary of E.ON U.S. LLC that serves 326,000 natural gas and 401,000 electric customers in Louisville, Ky., and 16 surrounding counties.
