E.ON U.S. Foundation Awards More Than $48,000 in College Scholarships

(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) To further promote higher education across the state, the E.ON U.S. Foundation has donated more than $48,000 to 10 Kentucky high school seniors.

Each student will receive annual scholarships of $1,200 to help pay for college expenses. The 10th annual scholarship program granted the awards to children of E.ON U.S. employees.

"Our scholarship program demonstrates the company's continued support of higher education and young people across the Commonwealth. As the leaders of tomorrow, they are beginning to shape their futures to become contributing members of the community," said Chip Keeling, Vice President of E.ON U.S. Foundation.

Independent judges outside of E.ON U.S. evaluated the 107 candidates based on academic skills, school and community activities, leadership abilities, and work experience. Scholarships are renewable each year, as long as the student continues to meet eligibility requirements.
