LG&E Powers Patriot Game III: Celebrating Freedom

This year's event, presented again by LG&E, will be held on Sept. 8 at Bellarmine University, Knights Hall.

The Healing Place is Louisville's solution for the addicted and homeless in our community, and the model for Recovery Kentucky. The Healing Place has been serving homeless men and women and their children since 1989 and is an award winning, nationally recognized program, having been named "A Model That Works" by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It provides a detox center, medical clinic, and long-term recovery program for its clients. Its mission is to reach the homeless, offer recovery for the addicted, and help restore productive lives. In January 2005, Gov. Ernie Fletcher announced "Recovery Kentucky," an incentive to provide 10 new shelter recovery locations statewide and using The Healing Place model.
LG&E is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LG&E Energy LLC that serves 318,000 natural gas and 390,000 electric customers in Louisville, Ky., and 16 surrounding counties.
