Peregrine falcons are often monitored from a distance through spotting scopes and photography, making close encounters rare — until now.

Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources are unveiling the state's first peregrine falcon web camera, located at LG&E's Mill Creek Generating Station in a falcon nest box 300 feet above the ground.

Additional time to pay your bill

Our new billing and payment schedule, effective Jan. 1, 2013, means you now have at least 22 days from the date your LG&E bill is issued to make your payment.

Late payment fees will be added only if full payment is not received by the payment due date.
